Stuart was born in England and started riding motorcycles at a very young age. He has had the privilege of riding not only with his father, but with many other motorcycle owners and respected clubs for almost 30 years.
Stuart graduated with a Graphic Design degree from Northampton University in 1998 and since 2005 has worked as a freelance graphic designer trading as Creative Beast.
In 2015 after meeting up with an old friend from the Barrel Bikers MCC - Johnny 'Chester' Dowling at Ton Up Day at Jacks Hill Cafe in Northamptonshire, Stuart decided to bring together his main passions in life – Motorcycles and their associated culture, photography, graphic design and illustration, and in 2016 Widow Makers was born.
Stuart now creates unique designs & illustrations in both digital and traditional mediums for major motorcycle brands and lifestyle events, as well as undertaking private commissions from motorcyclists. Stuart also creates unique Motorcycle art as rare digital NFT’s of bikes and images which inspire him and these art & design pieces can be purchased soon.

Why Widow Makers?
“I believe motorcycle owners risk their lives every day to enjoy their passion for motorcycles. The Name ‘Widow Maker’ originally came from the famous Kawasaki H2 Motorcycle and whilst this may be true, I believe all types of motorcycles are dangerous and thus, can be potential Widow Makers. That’s the risk we as riders and owners face for the excitement of riding a motorcycle. This I know because I ride myself, and to be honest in this day and age, the rider has more than ever to worry about, with both the increasing volume of traffic and the condition of roads throughout the world.”
Stuart will talk with you, the motorcycle owner/rider to understand what drives your enthusiasm and passion for your motorbike and arrange to meet with you at the location of your choice to photograph your motorcycle or discuss your event / venue requirements, he then works from his studio in Northamptonshire to produce his unique and original artwork.
No prints are made from commissioned artwork or digital NFTs so every piece is a one-off. Stuart hopes his future creations will be seen in throughout motorcycle lifestyle venues, clubhouses, events and brands as the culture of motorcycling inspires him as much as the bikes themselves.
As the owner of a Triumph Scrambler, KTM SuperAdventure and Harley Davidson Fatboy, Stuart also combines his passion for motorcycles and photography with adventure rides across the UK and Europe. Follow his adventures on the Widow Makers blog, Facebook and Instagram.
